Squirrel's tail
Just a squirrel's tail. For some reason or other I tend to end up facing a squirrel rather than see it side on, so this was a bit of a treat. I thought it made a lovely shape, nice and furry too. .

Ha Ha.
Looks like a fire hazard to me. I have a few accidental pics like this...I wasn't quick enough to get the pic before the animal dashed off.
Great DOF, I think the hairdresser did a great job here, so did you Ellie.
I know they use squirrel tails for paint brushes and that is the first thing that came to mind for me with this.
Great details and DOF here Ellie!
A nice change to a common subject, good detail and composition
Just yesterday a house guest was telling us what Mary said...that they use squirrel hair in some art paintbrushes. So now I can see why, up close and personal. Thanks, Ellie.
Great detail shot!
Wicked capture Ellie. LOL at Ray.
If you had flipped the picture it would have been S for squirrel
Great one.
I don't know what to say
Excellent detail Ellie and great perspective you've captured here.
You have obtained a very good detail of the tail of the squirrel! .
What a fluffy delight! Great shot, Ellie... I can see the individual hairs, it's so detailed! Congratulations on a beautiful and original photo.
It would have taken me ages to guess that one Ellie. Super shot.
Interesting and amusing with lots of detail and a good composition Ellie, well done.
Hello Ellie. I love this image, so nice to see just the thing that separates a Rat from a Squirrel in many peoples point of view. I for one am not one of them. Just lovely. Ps i have a squirrel for tomorrows pic !
Love the curve, Ellie. Detail is crisp and beautiful. (:o)
What a lovely tale and tail, too! Love the detail in this and a unusual view of it.
Nice capture
Funny idea and amazing details
I really like this one, mostly because of the unusual and original crop
